Martini is an atypical sculptor, because most of his work is about performance. He constantly investigates the material and its limits, with processing playing a key role. The spirit that guides the artist’s imagination is animated by an experiential and anti-dogmatic approach. It is an incessant process of wandering, undergoing and provoking the phenomenological metamorphosis of the materials he chooses to use. Martini conceives the elements he works with as fragments of an ever-changing nature, which, as such, can be modeled, altered, and sometimes even destroyed.
