Morbin graduated in 1982 from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia under Emilio Vedova. Since 1978 his research has focused on public and private behavior, using performance to analyze fascist legacies and binary logics of the contemporary social scene. His exploration of behavioral issues runs parallel to the construction of everyday objects—tools for communicating with ourselves, social sculptures, ideological planters, relational clothing—designed to disseminate and delegate his performance ideas to the public in non-artistic contexts. In 1995 he founded Superficie Totale, a virtual container for all his subsequent actions (Ibridazioni), always characterized by the relationship with animal, vegetable, mineral and artificial partners. Morbin has presented his work at the Galerie Gregor Podnar, Ljubljana and Berlin (2010), Museo Villa Croce, Genoa (2013), Museo Marino Marini, Florence (2014), MMSU, Rijeka (2014), Viafarini, Milan (2015), Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich (2016), Galerie Michaela Stock, Vienna (2016), 15th Architecture Biennale, Venice (2016). He currently teaches the Performance Techniques course at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Verona.
